COERVER® COACHING OF COLORADO

Coerver® Coaching of Colorado has been established to provide the region’s finest in-depth soccer skills training, to sponsor innovative competitions which challenge players’ technical abilities, and to serve as a resource for parents, coaches and clubs who recognize the need for “Skillful Players First”.
Based on the world-renowned Coerver® Method, our Camps and other programs reflect the cutting edge of player training and development. A sequence of programs for players from under-7 through High School offer instruction in a relentlessly positive environment which leads to increasing proficiency in the following areas:
Mastery of the Ball
Mastery of Small Group Situations (2v1, 2v2, 3v2, 3v3 etc.), the building blocks of team play, under progressively greater pressure.
Mastery of Effective “Soccer Habits”, the key to a player’s “sense for the game”.
An Appreciation of the Competitive Process
All Coerver® Colorado training programs follow a detailed written curriculum, featuring activities used by Coerver® Coaching throughout the world that are proven to be challenging, effective and enormously fun.
Marcelo “Chelo” Curi is Director of Colorado’s Coerver® Camps. A teammate of Pele and Franz Beckenbauer with the New York Cosmos, Chelo came to Colorado with the Major Indoor Soccer League’s Colorado Avalanche. His distinguished coaching career includes the men’s soccer team at Regis College (1978-89), boys and girls State Cup champions and numerous Olympic Development teams. He also served as the FIFA Team Liaison for Argentina’s National Team at the 1994 World Cup and 1996 Olympics.The Coerver® Staff is comprised of professional and college players as well as high school and college coaches; many attended the camps as youth players. They have extensive experience and success in developing players of extraordinary skill. Most of our coaches have been with us for more than 5 years and all of them have been trained to teach the Coerver® Method.
