Director of Coerver Michigan, James Tyers welcomes you to Coerver Coaching!
I have been part of Coerver Coaching since 1995 when I started with Tim Thurston, then in charge of the program for the county of Norfolk, England. Since that time, I have seen the Coerver philosophy provide many benefits to all levels of players around the world. I am now in my eleventh year of residence in Detroit Michigan, having finished playing professionally and now concentrating on my coaching career. I hope that we can be of service to you all in your quest for soccer excellence.
Technical Program Director, Tony Deacon, a highly qualified coach and former professional player, has been a Coerver coach in Michigan for the last 10 years. He has a wealth of coaching and playing experience in the U.S. and abroard; his knowledge and expertise will enhance the Coerver program throughout the state of Michigan over the coming years.
Other full-time staff members:
Christian Hatzenbeler, a highly qualified coach, former professional, college and ODP player, is also Coaching Director with a local club in Detroit on a full-time basis.
This upcoming seasonal year 2010-2011, we will be holding our summer, high school and team camp programs; in addition, we will also be introducing several new programs for players, coaches and parents to be held at some of the best indoor/outdoor facilities in Michigan.
Please come back to our web site for continued updates.

Our newest program incorporates the best of the Coerver curriculum into a fast paced, high energy, high intensity course which challenges players during the 6-8 weeks of our Pulse program and runs in conjunction with their regular weekly training routine. (Vardar MI will be using this program during the fall training season).
3. Summer camps
Our consistantly attended and long lasting summer camp program, where the Coerver curriculum is covered comprehensivley over one week, giving players a broard range of skills and ideas to take away with them and implement into their own training environment and games.
4. Pre season team programs
A progression from our standard summer camps, these camps are designed specifically for teams to build and develop their game based on the teams needs using the Coerver curriculum.
