Coerver® Coaching Camp / Clinic

The Coerver® Method is designed to teach and improve soccer skills. Coerver® programs are sequential; each level builds on mastery of the one before. Satisfactory completion of the Advanced Camp program is a prerequisite for acceptance into the Elite Camp. Exceptions are made only with the permission of the Camp Director. THE COERVER COLORADO ELITE CAMP PROGRAM (for High School Players only) is designed for those players who are thoroughly proficient with their ball skills, and who regularly use various "Moves" in a game. The player must have the ability to receive and/or to pass the ball while under pressure and have the ability to make crisp, accurate, well-timed passes. This program emphasizes "speed of play" and our "Small Group, Fast Break" concept of attack. For acceptance into this program, the player must be entering high school in the coming Fall season and have completed at least one Advanced Camp Program. This program is only offered at our Highlands Ranch and Greenwood Village Camps. The camps are structured to provide a relentlessly positive environment where players are encouraged to “make the maximum effort, continue to learn and improve, and don’t let mistakes (or the fear of mistakes) stop them.“ There is a written curriculum for each program which guarantees an active, fast paced program of instruction, practice and play. Coerver Colorado’s staff members are high school and college coaches and college players. Many of our staff have been campers in our camps; many have coached with Coerver® for five summers or more. Each of our coaches is screened for their ability to work with children and all are trained to teach the Coerver® Method.
