Coerver Oregon Licensee John Galas is the current associate head coach with the University of Arizona Women’s Soccer Program, and former assistant coach with the USL D-1 Portland Timbers. Coach Galas holds a USSF ‘A’ License, as well as an NSCAA National Diploma. John has served as an assistant coach at both the University of Oregon and Florida State University. He has also served on USYSA Region III and IV coaching staffs, and has had international coaching experience working in one of Europe’s premier community coaching schemes at the Liverpool Football Club Accademy. Coach Galas has coached several players who have MLS experience, Nate Jaqua (Seattle Sounders), Josh Saunders (LA Galaxy), Lee Morrison (Dallas Burn), Tom Poltl (LA Galaxy), Mike Randolf (LA Galaxy), Bayard Elfvin (NY Red Bull), Mike Chabala (Houston Dynamo) Terry Boss (Seattle Sounders) and Scot Thompson (LA Galaxy).
